Welcome to Roc Pen and Ink! Named for the place where it all began, in my hometown of Rochester, New York. I am Olivia, the calligrapher behind it all. Lettering started as a creative outlet for me when I was going through cancer treatment in 2016. After lots of practice and encouragement from family and friends, Roc Pen and Ink became my full-fledged side-hustle in 2017.
While I have always had nice handwriting and cursive, pointed pen calligraphy is a whole different ball game. I am constantly learning new styles, developing my skills, and exploring other mediums to better understand the art of calligraphy. I truly believe the best part about incorporating calligraphy into your wedding is that each piece is unique and fully custom.
Roc Pen and Ink is based in Washington, D.C and New York. However, no project is (usually) too far to complete. I am lucky to be able to to share my work with clients all across the country.
